"II Encuentro de Educación Artística y Buenas Prácticas" Quito, Ecuador

I was invited to the "II Encuentro de Educación Artística y Buenas Prácticas" in Quito, Ecuador. It was organized by Organización de Estados Iberoamericanos OEI, Fundación Tinkuy and Fundación Arteducarte. October 1st, 2nd, 3rd 2015.

Fundación Arteducarte, directed by Maria Consuelo Tohme, is an independent and private arts education program, created in 2000 that is dedicated to stimulate creativity and expression of children from disadvantaged primary schools in Ecuador through artistic processes, leading to greater learning ability, self-esteem and values.

Fundación Arteducarte celebrated the fifteenth birthday with a wonderful exhibition at Universidad Simón Bolivar in Quito. Artworks created by children from dozens of schools with the help of their teachers and artists in residence.
